John Polson

I am so blessed to be a part of the team at Good News! I grew up the oldest of four boys, raised by parents who loved Jesus. Many people from my church and family poured into me as a child, which resulted in me giving my life to Christ at a young age. But, of course, that was only the beginning of a journey I’m still on to this day.

Through that journey, the Lord has given me a heart for teaching, discipleship, and building relationships. I’ve been hanging out with and pouring into the lives of students since 2000 (I’ve loved every minute of it!), in addition to working for several years as a Discipleship/Worship Pastor. I have a Bachelor’s degree in religion, a Master’s in Biblical Studies, and a Doctorate in counseling.

I’ve lived in Colorado most of my life, so I love the outdoors and our beautiful mountains! I also really love sports (football is my favorite), but at the same time am a bit of a sci fi nerd. I’ve been married since 2001 to my wife Amy. We partnered together in ministry for many years, and then…our two beautiful children- Daniel and Hannah came along! They always keep us on our toes!
