I am privileged to lead the prayer ministry at Good News. Praying with others and for others is something I am passionate about.
I accepted Jesus as my savior and was baptized at the age of 10. This decision has affected my whole life, my world view, and the decisions I make. I have been active in church ministry since I was in High School, serving in many capacities, teaching, missions prayer, and youth group.
God has given me many opportunities to reach out to others over the years, including teaching at the Okinawa Christian School in Japan and going on mission trips to Uganda and Mexico. It has been pure joy meeting people, worshiping with them and making new friends!
I am a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and widow. My husband, Raymond, and I raised 9 children. The first 7 were in the yours, mine and their’s group. Then 15 years later we started over with a 10-month-old and a 2-year-old. There are 70 of us now! God has blessed me with a lot of people to love and pray for.
I like doing art, reading, learning new things, and spending time with family and friends. I love the mountains and the ocean … God’s creation and the creatures He created fascinate me!
