I was raised on a cattle ranch in Millersville, Missouri. I grew up going to a little country church with my parents and grandparents.
In my undergrad, I studied to be a journalist at Southeast Missouri State University. I was a journalist during my time at the university, working in local radio, and then after graduation, working at the local TV station, KFVS, in Cape Girardeau, MO. In addition to majoring in journalism, I had a second major in social science and two minors, one in writing and the other in religious studies.
For two years, I was a worship leader, leading the singing at a little church in Chaffee, Missouri. I left the Show-Me State to study Creative Technology and Design at CU Boulder.
I am deeply passionate about the arts, and I feel a part of my mission in the world is to create things for the glory of God.
I could not be more proud and excited to join Good News Community Church as Ignite Director. I look forward to “planting seeds” and watching “God make them grow” (1 Corinthians 3:6).
