The A/V team serves the church by pursuing excellent presentation of sight and sound for the delivery of the message of Jesus. If you are passionate about one of these areas, or would like to learn, feel free to submit your information so we can connect with you further!
The worship team leads our church family in our weekly gatherings. We seek to present the awesome character and heart of our Father in a way that draws us closer to Him. If you play an instrument or sing, we’d love to connect with you.

Church buildings need upkeep just like any other place. In an effort to honor God with our facility, we have a team of people who regularly volunteer to ensure that our church building is in great shape!
Good News has a prayer team that regularly prays for our church as well as those that reach out for prayer from outside of the church body. They can be found praying in the foyer before services and praying with individuals after the service. Additionally, they regularly pray for needs during the week.

There are so many great opportunities for you to make an impact in the Ignite Student Ministry, such as: greeter (literally just welcoming and high fiving students as they come in- great relationship builder!), game runner, audio/video tech, music (worship), small group leader or co-leader (this is where life changing stuff for students happens), teaching sub, and the list goes on!
This team is the frontline, first impression for all guests at Good News Community Church. The vision for this team is to create a positive first impression by means of maintaining a safe and friendly atmosphere for guests and regular attendees as they arrive. Hospitality team members have a passion to serve and encourage others as they walk through the door.
The Path guides people through 5 different classes to meet new people, ask questions, gives opportunities to grow your relationship with God, and help you find purpose within the vision and mission of Good News Community Church. This is an opportunity to oversee learning and teaching experiences so that people of all ages grow in their understanding of their relationship with God and become better equipped for daily living as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
